Nearly four years has passed since the last release of a Slightly Stoopid studio production (2008′s Slightly Not Stoned Enough to Eat Breakfast Yet Stoopid), but it now appears that the wait is over! Their next album Top of the World is slated to grace our ears on August 14th on their own label, Stoopid Records. In an interview with Rolling Stone today the band explains that the reason for their extended hiatus is due to their constant touring along with the fact that some members have even started families, with singer/instrumentalists Kyle McDonald and Miles Doughty fathering children. Much to the delight of fans the new album will be dripping with collaborations within the 21 tracks expected. With that being said, “Top of the World” is the lead single from the long awaited new album, stream it below and start counting down the days to August 14th.
