While Deadmau5 may continue to stir controversy left and right within the EDM community through his outlandish statements and most recent blow at the “button pushers” of the industry, the mans studio brilliance continues to speak for itself. In his most recent release we receive, without charge, what Joel considers a “work in progress”. This release is without a doubt a clear indicator that he is unquestionably a step above your average electronic producers.
The track is layered with pacing melodic chords and powerful synths, creating the acoustically vibrant soundscape we regularly receive from deadmau5. This being an unfinished track, one can only wonder how on earth Joel will revamp the structure to give us a final product due along with his new album slated to be released later this year.
